The Student Forum facilitates regular communication between academic staff and undergraduate students. It aims to meet a minimum of two times per year (at least once each semester). At the first forum, members elect two undergraduate and two postgraduate School Board Delegates who act as liaisons between the Student Forum and School Board. At each School Board the student delegates will be asked if they have anything to report. One of the roles of the Student Forum may be to organise social and intellectual events that can be publicised and supported by the School.
For further information, contact the Student Forum Convenor Dr Marie-Laure Vuaille-Barcan.
The School also hosts a Postgraduate Student Forum, details of which can be found on the Research Higher Degree Students page
The School awards a number of undergraduate and postgraduate student prizes, in addition to Faculty and University medals and scholarships. Click here to view latest prize recipients

Altogether 54 academic staff were nominated by students and will receive certificates acknowledging the students' appreciation.
The students initiated this award last year so that the forum would have a positive function as well as transmitting student complaints and communicating dissatisfaction. There were more than 150 votes this year - we hope that the idea will continue to attract support and become stronger and more prestigious in future years.
