Student Experience and Transition (formerly Transition and Retention) are responsible for programs which are aimed at supporting the student experience. These programs are aimed to ease student transition into University through:

The coordination of orientation activities and enrolment sessions (Orientation and Orientation Assistants) Access to staff prior to commencing a degree (Friends on Campus) Regular email contact with a continuing student from when you accept your degree into your first semester (Student Mentors)


Student experience also run programs aimed to assist you throughout your studies. These programs are designed to assist student retention by:

Providing support (online, email and face to face) to non-conventional users of support services via mySupport Using social media to educate students about available support and programs for current students Co-ordinating Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS)
