Early Childhood/ Pre-school Director» search for more Jobs
The main role of the Director is to oversee the management and delivery of quality early childhood/ pre-school programs which includes: ensuring that the school or setting complies with all educational and care/safety guidelines and regulations; management and leadership of centre staff; management of facility resources; responsibilities for the financial budgeting for resources; and the promotion of services and through engagement with key community stakeholders. Depending on the setting, Directors are responsible to centre management boards or committees with regards to the running of an early childhood/pre-school centre.
Directors hold tertiary qualifications in early childhood studies, have significant experience in teaching and have a sound knowledge of teaching and learning practices in the early childhood specialty. Strong leadership, management experience is required as are the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of people.
