Organisational development is the process by which an organisation seeks to improve its efficiency and overall performance. This usually involves factors such as training and professional development, improving workplace culture and general human resources activities such as recruitment. An organisational development strategy manager is responsible for formulating and driving these strategies is consultation with other members of the management team, while an organisational development manager has the job of translating strategy into practice, developing ways that objectives can be met and policies enacted. Both of these positions require extensive experience and in most cases, post-graduate qualifications.
