Sydney Alumni Chapter
The Sydney Alumni Chapter was launched in 1996 and is made up of alumni living and working in, or near Sydney. New members are always welcome and alumni who may be travelling to Sydney when an Alumni event is scheduled are invited to attend.
Sydney Alumni Chapter Medal
The Sydney Alumni Chapter Medal is awarded to recognise the outstanding contribution of a graduate who, through their commitment, dedication and service to either the University, community or their chosen profession, bring honour and distinction to the University.

Sydney Alumni Chapter Scholarship Prize
The Sydney Alumni Chapter is proud to award a scholarship prize. A $1,000 scholarship is offered to assist a financially challenged first year undergraduate student to assist them with their studies at the University of Newcastle.
In 2011, the Sydney Alumni Chapter would like to raise $5,000 for the scholarship fund to ensure the continuation of this important scholarship.
