The Conservatorium (Community Music)

The Newcastle Conservatorium provides musical experiences for the wider community. These are open to the general public and cater from Early Childhood Music classes (starting age 6 months) to hosting activities by University of the Third Age and the Music Lovers Club.

Instrumental tuition is available in a wide range of instruments. The Conservatorium also has a number of ensembles including a number of wind and string orchestras. (Limited scholarships are available.)

Regular events include a Lunchtime Concert series, a Twilight Concert series, evening concerts, masterclasses and workshops.
