As careers advisers and teachers, you play a crucial role in assisting your students to make informed decisions about their study options. These pages are designed to provide you with a quick reference resource for information about our University.
The Student Recruitment team
Our Student Recruitment team is the point of contact for careers advisers for information about the University of Newcastle. We can help you with: ordering copies of our publications, arranging a speaker to visit your school (selected regions), answering university-based enquiries and organising campus tours for year 10 students.
In addition, the team attends major metropolitan and regional careers markets across NSW. We host on campus events including Schools Visit Days, Open Days and Advisory Days.

Year 10 campus tours
Our Year 10 campus tours are an opportunity for school students to experience a uni campus first hand, and hear from students who are completing or have successfully completed tertiary studies. The tours are lead by one of our Student Ambassadors and are a great way to taste university life.
