More about call numbers
Depending on the type or format of the item, the
call number may include a code or prefix to indicate its location
within the library collection. This prefix will also give you an
idea of the type or format of the item, as libraries hold a large
number of resources in addition to standard books. The following
are some examples from a range of codes a library may use.
