This course provides you with an understanding of the need for evaluation of health interventions,the different types of evaluations and skills in determining whether interventions are effective in achieving their stated goals.
||At the end of this course you should be able to determine the need for evaluation and develop goals, design an evaluation program and carry out the evaluation including pre-testing and data
||Content addresses program goals and objectives; outcome, impact and process evaluation; evaluation designs, including experimental and quasi-experimental designs; qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques; instrument design, reliability and validity: pre-testing of health materials; an introduction to economic evaluation; practical implementation of an evaluation; collation, reporting and dissemination of results.
