Climate Change: What does this actually mean for our region?Dr Karen Blackmore from Hunter Councils Environment Division will present the outcomes of two years of research into the effects of climate change on our Region. Commissioned by the Councils of the region, and completed by the University of Newcastle and Macquarie University, the research has confirmed that the impacts of climate change will vary across the region. The results generated provide the next order of detail and insight over previous projections of change, including sub regional and seasonal analysis. This makes it possible to more accurately assess and prepare for the potential risks posed by climate change. |
