Students who do not attend a Child Protection lecture will still be able to obtain a child protection certificate, but will need to sit an exam. Please email PEU Director David.palmer@newcastle.edu.au to request this exam.

 

Graduate Information Seminars - Education

Final year students only are to attend both sessions outlined below. If there is a timetable clash then students should attend timetabled tutorials/lectures as all of this information is available on the NSWDET or NSW Teacher Federation web sites. The careers office will obtain copies of any handouts from the sessions and these will be available for students who were unable to attend.

Enrol early in Semester 1 if you are intending to undertake a Professional Experience Course in Semester 2. Some Semester 2 professional experience courses have lectures in Semester 1. Please check the timetable for the courses in which you are enrolled.
