For Students
Welcome to the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health. As a new student it is our pleasure to welcome you to the organisation. The University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health has a valuable role to play in the provision of medical, nursing and allied health services across the North West Slopes and Plains, the Northern Tablelands, Manning Rivers region and the Upper Hunter Valley. It has an important role to play in your education and training as a medical, or allied health student.
The University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health covers approximately 20% of the land area of New South Wales and includes the regional centres of Tamworth, Armidale, Taree, Moree and the surrounding communities.
