Citation Wording
For pioneering a transition to practice/workplace curriculum and written guides providing students with skills and increased awareness of the requirements of future graduate practice.
Synopsis
To ensure that new graduates of health professional programs are better prepared to engage in mandatory Continuing Professional Development (CPD), a requirement for ongoing professional registration, the nominees designed learning-through-assessment and interest-orientated learning strategies. These required students to consider and develop career plans aligned with Australian and International future practice requirements, and work within online communities of practice to discuss and debate emerging clinical technologies and professional roles.
