Annual Seminars
Three FREE seminars are provided for all university researchers (students and staff) at the end of the first semester in June/July each year. They are taught in an accessible and easy to understand way, covering the following topics:
What is statistics about?
What method should I use?
How much data should I collect?

Courses
How to analyse my data
is a 3 day course that will be run 18th-20st July 2011. It is aimed at RHD students, but staff can attend too. This course provides help in analysing data and reporting results. The use of statistical software packages will be illustrated using SPSS.

SAS Programming I: Essentials
Students or staff members of the University of Newcastle are eligible to attend a 4 day SAS Training Course, running Monday 21st to Thursday 24th February 2011 at Callaghan Campus. This course is as based on the standard SAS Programming I: Essentials course which is the entry point to learning SAS programming.

SAS Programming II: Data Manipulation Techniques
SAS programming 2 follows on from Programming 1 and is based on the standard SAS Programming II: Data Manipulation Techniques course. It is to be held from 9am-5pm on Monday to Wednesday the 6th to 8th of June, 2011 at Callaghan Campus.
