How to be a good husband
Kylie Moore
My, how times have changed! Not too long ago it would be extraordinary for a man to do menial tasks such as housework or cooking. These chores were traditionally seen as a woman’s work. A woman was supposed to look pretty, act pleasantly, and above all else ensure that her man is well looked after. Step forward fifty years, and you will find that men and women are now looking after each other equally....fancy that! This exhibition is dedicated to my extremely supportive husband, Clint. Although he does do his fair share of chores, I decided that he needed some extra guidance in the form of a manual. Kylie Moore

For Your Eyes Only
Zyanya Walker
This is my shadow. Sticky and entity-like. A dark bottomless pit. Empty and void. It sucks, feeds off others. Lacking identity, admiration, praise and compliments are my food. Like a drug, I get withdrawals when supply has run low. It needs to be replenished and every time I need a little bit more. There is no substitute. I am a naked undefined blur, over-shadowed by a starving void. The nothingness. Zyanya Walker

I think you know this girl
Alex Chapman
I think you know this girl is an energetic, colourful exploration of feminine beauty and sensuality. Works include beautiful drawings of the female form taken from life, contrasted with the provocative depiction of women in pornography; comprised of expressive, dreamlike images of innocent girls, to supermodels, to actresses in adult movies. The exhibition will encourage the audience to reflect on the beauty, sexuality and persona of the female form, while reinforcing the strength and power that women have in society. The exhibition will raise the question 'Do I know a girl like this?'.Alex Chapman

The Incarnate Dream
Barbie Procobis
The Incarnate Dream is an exploration of the mind, uncovering our dreams, desires and emotions as we subconsciously consider our own identity. Each of my images are visual representations of our deepest and darkest emotions, delving into the depths of the human psyche. Barbie Procobis

Fly by Night
Gany Erlano
It is my final year studying Fine Art at the University of Newcastle and it has been a massive journey from day one. Using lanterns as my focus my images portray the journey I have had within my studies. These lanterns have been used to guide people who have gone astray and lead them to a better place. They have shown me where I have been, where I am going and perhaps lead me to a better place. Gany Erlano

Passenger, Inert
Leisa Markey
The images from Passenger, Inert relate to my memory of falling asleep in the car. My intention is for the viewer to encounter a unique experience of drifting outside sequential time and immediate awareness, reflecting on their own experiences by stepping into mine. The work is constructed through the precepts of Consciousness Art, art that is direct and experiential, rather than didactic. The somatic metaphor ignites a common thread between the art space, the physical bodily experience, and the conscious mind. Leisa Markey
