Funded through the University and the Australian Government Capital Development Pool program, the Education and Nursing Building will be ready for teaching in Semester 1, 2012. It will feature model classrooms for education, including specialist information technology teaching spaces and a simulation laboratory for nursing.

What’s happening?

The new building provides specialist clinical and teaching laboratories to support the full range of education programs currently delivered at the campus, and for the further development of on-campus nursing and other clinical education. It will include teaching practice rooms and other purpose-designed spaces to address the special needs of education for practice classrooms, and to support teaching methods.

When is the building officially open?

The Education and Nursing Building will be officially opened on Wednesday 16th November, 2011 by Ms Deborah O'Neill, Federal Member for Robertson. The ceremony will provide an opportunity to celebrate the completion of building and highlight the significant expansion to the Central Coast campus.
