University of Newcastle student Samantha Morris has won a statewide competition to design a road safety campaign for young drivers.
23-year-old Samantha, an Honours student in Visual Communication Design, developed her campaign for the Roads and Traffic Authority's 'Pimp Our Ads' competition.
Using the slogan Should Have Crashed at a Mate's, Samantha designed a poster which will appear on billboards across NSW, on the back of buses and at bus stops, as well as in street media.
Samantha's poster was chosen from more than 7,900 other entries and so impressed the judges that she has been offered an internship with advertising agency Singleton Ogilvy and Mather.
Samantha said would take up the internship in Sydney after she completes her Honours year.
