TAFE graduates with a completed Certificate IV level or higher are being offered a guaranteed place next year in selected degree programs at the University of Newcastle Central Coast campus.
Pro Vice-Chancellor, Professor Stephen Crump, said the TAFE Guaranteed Entry Scheme was a great opportunity to build on educational qualifications.
"The Scheme offers TAFE graduates the chance to continue their studies and the opportunity to further their career," Professor Crump said.
"Not only are TAFE graduates guaranteed entry to the University, they may also receive credit for their existing TAFE qualifications, giving them a head start on their degree program.
"With University Admissions Centre (UAC) applications closing soon, I encourage anyone who has completed a Certificate IV or higher at TAFE to come and talk to us about the options available to further their career with a University degree."
Guaranteed places are available for full or part-time study across a range of degree programs at the Central Coast campus, including:
- Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Arts
- Bachelor of Nursing
