59th Australian Intervarsity Choral Festival
The Newcastle University Choir is co-hosting the 59 Australian Intervarsity Choral Festival. More than 120 singers from across the nation will attend the festival and participate in the Visions of Australia concert on Friday 25 January 2008.

Indigenous employment researcher to receive Australia Day award
An Indigenous employment researcher at the University of Newcastle will this week be recognised with an Australia Day award from the National Council of Women NSW.
