The University of Newcastle's Centre for Teaching and Learning is presenting the Showcasing Online Learning and Teaching forum on Thursday 28 August from 3pm - 5.30pm in the Syracusa Function Room on the Callaghan Campus.

Colleagues from across the University community will have an opportunity to explore ideas and initiatives in online learning and teaching.

Seventeen presenters will demonstrate innovative ways of engaging students in online learning and there will be opportunities for discussion throughout the afternoon.

The guest speaker, Dr Shirley Reushle from the University of Southern Queensland, has a strong reputation for her extensive experience and research in designing and facilitating online and flexible programs.

Refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon.
