The Newcastle University United Nations Society will host a panel discussion on Thursday 11 September titled "Israel/Palestine: A New Paradigm for a New Generation"
Entry is by gold coin donation and the main speaker is Dr Robert Imre, co-author of "Responding to Terrorism" and Lecturer in Politics from the Faculty of Business and Law. Also addressing the seminar is Dr Roger Markwick, Senior Lecturer in History from the Faculty of Education and Arts.
Come along as we plunge deeper into the roots of the Israel/Palestine conflict and seek positive solutions to a problem that has divided the Middle East for decades. It is through discussions such as these that we can begin to help to sew the seeds of peace in a land so long fought over.
