Australia's future business leaders will compete in the final of the 2009 University of Newcastle Kip McGrath Education Centres Year 11 Business Plan Competition this week.
More than 200 students entered the state-wide competition designed to promote business thinking among high school students. From 137 submissions, just four teams are finalists - Alstonville High School, Avondale School, Gosford High School and St Philip's Christian College.
Students were required to select an innovative product or service and develop a comprehensive business plan to take to the market and generate sales.
The final will be held on Friday 13 November at the Newcastle Business School, Level 4, University House, cnr King and Auckland St, Newcastle. Vision opportunities available between 11.45 and 12.45pm.
