There have been two attacks recently on the Callaghan campus.  For their personal safety, everyone on campus is urged to observe the following:

• Put the Security emergency number in your phone - 4921 5888 
• After dark, a shuttle bus and security escorts are available by calling  0407 951 470 to arrange pick up
• If you choose not to call Security for an escort after dark, please walk in a group of at least four people and keep to the main pathways
• Do not use isolated car parks, such as number 15, after dark.  If you are going to be on campus late, please move your car closer to where you will need it.

The University and NSW Police have increased patrols on campus.  In the meantime, it is vital that everyone remains aware of their personal safety, and looks out for their friends and colleagues.

At the Central Coast, a shuttle service runs from 5pm until 10pm Monday to Thursday. The bus can take staff and students around the Loop Road and to Ourimbah railway station. Bus stops are located at various points along the Loop Road or you can be picked up by phoning 0414 411 799.
