A Newcastle Business School academic has been named among Asia’s best professors in human resource management at a recent awards ceremony in Singapore.

The University of Newcastle’s Dr Ashish Malik was honoured at the 2nd annual Asia's Best B-School Awards in July.

Based on submissions of peer and student interviews, the awards recognise contributions made by an individual in their field who displays role model qualities.

The event was attended by senior academic leaders from universities and educational institutes across Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates.
