Profile
Professor Wright is Dean of Law and Head of the School of Law at the University of Newcastle.  He was appointed Law Reform Commissioner of Victoria in 1991 and 1992, and was appointed as a member of the Commonwealth Access to Justice Advisory Committee in 1993 and 1994. He has undertaken research on behalf of the Law Council of Australia, the Attorney-General’s departments of the Commonwealth, NSW, Queensland and Victoria, the Legal Aid Commission of NSW, the Queensland Criminal Justice Commission (now the Crime and Misconduct Commission), Queensland Legal Services Commissioner, Motor Accidents Authority of NSW, County Court of Victoria, and NRMA Insurance (now IAG).
