Study with the Family Action Centre

The Family Action Centre academic staff members coordinate and teach in a range of post-graduate and undergraduate programs related to our areas of research and practice. Prospective students interested in boys' education; working with men and boys; and community engagement can enrol in a variety of distance and on-line courses.

Current teachers from any location wanting to specialise in educating boys are offered a graduate certificate or masters program by distance mode. Post graduate studies in working with the community are also available.

Undergraduate students in professional degrees wanting to further develop their skills in working with men and boys or in engaging the community can undertake online courses. Current students come from a variety of professions such as nursing, social work, or occupational therapy. The courses are offered through the relevant schools. For further information on these courses click on the menu bar at the side and follow the links to the course you are interested in.

The Family Action Centre also offers a range of professional development opportunities in our three, two and one day training courses in Rock and Water, Drumbeat, Results-based Accountability and Assets-based Community Development. To find out more about these courses click on our Workshops and Conferences buttons at the side.
