We are especially proud of the contributions the University is making through our Centres of Excellence and Co-operative Research Centres, and their involvement with industry partners. We have strong links with local health bodies and the community through the Hunter Medical Research Institute – the only medical research institute in regional Australia. The success of TUNRA, the University's commercial arm, in transferring research outcomes to commercial reality is highly regarded.
