Faculty of Business and Law Honours Scholarship

Establishment

This scholarship was established by the Faculty of Business and Law, to assist outstanding students enrolled in an honours program in the Faculty.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

• Be enrolled in the honours year of Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Economics or Bachelor of Management degree, or another degree program in which the student is enrolled in the honours year majoring in Politics
• Be enrolled full-time.
• Not hold another scholarship offered by the Faculty of Business and Law
• Not hold another scholarship over the value of $5000 per annum. Applicants may apply if they hold another scholarship up to the value of $5000 per annum, including scholarships which pay the HECS liability

Selection

Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, as measured by the Grade Point Average (GPA) calculated over the complete undergraduate degree program. All applicants with a GPA of 6.0 or greater will receive a scholarship. If fewer than 10 applicants have a GPA of 6.0 or greater, Scholarships may be awarded to applicants with a lower GPA, at the discretion of the Faculty.
