Computer Science Honours Scholarship

Establishment

This Scholarship was established to encourage high achieving students into the Computer Science Honours program http://www.newcastle.edu.au/degrees/bachelor/computer-science-honours.html offered by the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, at the University of Newcastle, Australia.

Required Documentation

If this documentation is not provided your application will not be processed.

After you have submitted your application, please print off the cover sheet provided and attach a copy of each piece of required documentation to it before sending in.

• A one page statement outlining your proposed Honours project.

Benefit

Up to two (2) Scholarships will be offered annually.

The Scholarship provides the benefit of $3,000 per annum payable in lump sum payments of $1,500 each semester after census date.

Selection

Selection of the scholar will be on the basis of:

• Academic Merit - a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.5 (Applications from candidates with a GPA lower than 5.5 will be assessed on a per case basis.)
• Honours research project proposal.
