Academic Integrity at the University of Newcastle
Learning at university is based on the principles of scholarship and research. Scholarship and research use existing knowledge, ideas and understandings to create, or build, new knowledge, ideas and understandings. The principles of academic integrity are central to the pursuit of knowledge undertaken at all levels in universities and in professional life.

These values are fundamental to the business of the University. All members of the University community on all campuses, including students, staff, contractors, partners or visitors, are required to uphold the Values and comply with the Code of Conduct in all of their activities.
