General access areas
General access areas including General Access Labs, University libraries and the Student Hubs offer a mix of Windows and Macintosh computers.
Windows 7 and Office 2010 computers are available in all our supported labs.
MacOSX Lion 10.8 computers are available in CT 210, the AIC and Level 3 of the Auchmuty Library, the CHIC (City Precinct) and the Ourimbah Library.
Printing facilities are available from all labs.
Logging into the lab computers requires a username and password.
Student computing facilities are available Port Macquarie and Singapore campuses – students should check with their local IT support team for further information.

Terms and Condition for Using the Computing Laboratories
All use of laboratories must be in accordance with the University Computing and Communications Facilities Conditions of Use Policy. Any local rules specific to laboratories must also be observed.
Breaching the terms and conditions of use may result in removal of access to facilities and/or disciplinary action.
As part of your course work, you may attend classes in one of our teaching labs. These computers have the same base software installed as the computers in the general access areas, with the addition of course specific software requested by academic staff who teach in these labs.
