What do Orientation Assistants do?

Orientation Assistants are the event helpers you see around during the Orientation period.   In a sense they are the University’s good-will ambassadors. They help to create a welcoming, friendly and happy campus community and are often engaged in campus activities like:

  • meeting and greeting
  • providing directions
  • leading campus tours
  • staffing help desks
  • setting out campus signage
  • cooking BBQs
