Statement of service

Client Responsibilities:
 Users of the University’s wireless access network must:
1. Be responsible for their personal computer equipment (e.g. laptop) including ensuring current operating system patches and anti-virus software is installed and up-to-date

IT Services responsibilities:
1. Development, setup, provision and support of the wireless access network. The University Wireless Access Network is generally available 24 x 7 except for scheduled maintenance periods.
On-site technical support for the network is available from 9 am to 5 pm on University working days.
2. Provide instructions for connecting a variety of common computer operating systems to the University’s wireless network Information supplied for WindowsXP, Windows VISTA and MacOSX.
