Biography
David has over 35 years of business experience, including 14 years at CSR Limited and 8 years as Managing Director of a successful Australian hi-tech gazelle. A lecturer with the University of Newcastle for the past 14 years, David co-ordinated the Master of Management Enterprise degree program at the Ourimbah Campus of the University from 1999 to 2005. He teaches entrepreneurship and business strategy at both senior undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including the capstone subject Strategic Management in the University's MBA program. David's principal research focus is the creation and development of very high growth firms, known as "gazelles".
