Biography

I am a graduate of the University of Newcastle and I am admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW. I have teaching experience in both the Newcastle Law School and the Discipline of Politics & International Relations. I have been an active researcher since 2009 and I am currently pursuing a PhD by publication. My doctoral research explores the separate but interconnected issues relating not only to the process of appointment of High Court judges, but also, what actually happens when women get the opportunity to exercise judicial authority at the highest levels. Given the interdisciplinary nature of I my doctoral research, I am eager press the boundaries between the disciplines of law and political science in ways that are meaningful to both disciplines.
