Changes to IT Training Course Delivery
In 2013, changes are being made about how we deliver IT training courses. Training in specialist corporate systems and a selection of other desktop applications will be delivered in the usual way, on campus with internal IT training facilitators.
Others will be presented in conjunction with our external IT training partners, such as Forsythes Training in Hamilton and Computer Workgroup Training in Sydney. This means that not all IT training will be provided on campus. For some courses, you will need to go to Denison Street, Hamilton. From Semester 2, this will be fully implemented and some of this training offsite also attracts a minimal cost.
The table below indicates what is being delivered on campus as well as off campus. For the on campus courses, please book via HRonline. Should you be interested in any of the off campus offerings, please express your interest by sending an email to email@example.com.
We will update you on changes and in Semester 2, this process will be automated.

As GroupWise is soon being replaced by another staff email system, it has been decided not to provide any further training for this, unless specifically requested by individual staff members. Therefore, if you require GroupWise training, please contact Organisational Development (Linda Lee on 49217252 or Donna Feeney on 4921 5239).
The new staff email system is hosted by Microsoft and uses Microsoft Outlook as the email client. It is based on Microsoft Office 365. Further information can be found here.
