Tapping into the AASHE Resources

The University of Newcastle is pleased to be a member to the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). AASHE is an international association of colleges and universities that are working to create a sustainable future. At this stage most of the members are from the U.S. or Canada but there is a growing base of Australian universities joining in.

AASHE's mission is to empower higher education to lead the sustainability transformation. AASHE provides resources, professional development, and a network of support to enable institutions of higher education to model and advance sustainability in everything they do, from governance and operations to education and research.

All UoN staff and students are covered by AASHE membership making it easy for you to link in by creating your own personalised UoN membership 'account'. This will give you access to the AASHE website, resources, forums and their weekly e-bulletin.

All staff (first name.surname @newcastle.edu.au) and students (first name.surname@uon.edu.au) on campus can use their own email address to create login credentials for themselves.
