Kulumun: Journal of the Wollotuka Institute will be published annually with the aim of building a Local, National and International Indigenous knowledge base.
The journal is published by the Wollotuka Institute at the University of Newcastle.
The meaning of the word "Kulumun"
Kulumun ("coolamon") is used for gathering plants and fruits, and for carrying babies. It is also used in ceremonial occasions. In the context of this journal, Kulumun symbolises the gathering of Indigenous knowledges from around the world.
